# TokenSonar — Institutional Blockchain Adoption Intelligence

## What this site is

TokenSonar tracks 26+ cryptocurrencies across three institutional-adoption archetypes:

- **ETF Play** (asset-class plays): Coins with spot ETFs commanding regulated capital flows. Examples: BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, HBAR.
- **Bank Infra** (infrastructure plays): Coins powering tier-1 bank deployments and integration with traditional financial market infrastructure. Examples: LINK (SWIFT for 11,000+ banks), POL (JPMorgan Onyx), QNT (Bank of England Rosalind), TRX (USDT settlement layer).
- **Tokenization** (rails for real-world assets): Chains hosting tokenized treasuries, money market funds, and on-chain financial instruments. Examples: ETH (65% of RWA value), XLM (Franklin BENJI), AVAX (CME futures), APT (BUIDL deployed).

Every coin receives a 0-100 Institutional Score computed daily from objective signals: ETF AUM, named institutional partners, on-chain RWA value, license count, news velocity, and protocol TVL. Rankings change as the underlying data changes.

- Recent institutional adoption news (RSS feeds classified by Claude)
- Token Allocation Explorer: dollar-weighted portfolio across top 10 coins by score

## Methodology

Universal score = max of three archetype-aware formulas, each weighted differently:

- **Asset Class**: ETF AUM (50%), institutional partners (30%), news velocity (10%), RWA bonus (10%)
- **Infrastructure**: tier-1 partnerships (55%), production indicator (20%), news velocity (15%), RWA bonus (10%). Capped at 80.
- **Tokenization Rail**: RWA on chain (35%), institutional partners (25%), ETF status (20%), news velocity (20%)

Capital-deployed floor: any coin with $50B+ in live spot ETFs has a minimum score of 88. Rationale: real institutional capital allocation is the strongest possible signal of institutional adoption.
